Gulf Construction performed structural repair work beneath existing condominium buildings at Molokai Villas in Perdido Key, Florida.

Project Overview
Gulf Construction served as a subcontractor on structural repairs beneath existing buildings at Molokai Villas in Perdido Key, Florida. The assignment focused on the support system below the condominium structures, including damaged wood pilings and structural beams.
Access and Removal Work
The work took place in the restricted space beneath the existing buildings. Our crews removed damaged wood pilings and associated concrete as necessary to make way for replacement support elements. The confined work area made access and construction sequencing important considerations.
Concrete Piers and Replacement Pilings
We poured engineered concrete piers to provide a base for installation of new replacement pilings. The new pier-and-piling work was part of the structural support repairs beneath the existing condominium buildings.
Structural Beam Replacement
Our subcontract scope also included removing and replacing structural beams. Together with the piling work, these repairs addressed key elements of the buildings’ supporting structure rather than merely cosmetic exterior conditions.
Subcontractor Role and Relevant Experience
Gulf Construction was the structural-repair subcontractor for this project, not the overall general contractor. The work demonstrates our experience with selective structural demolition, concrete pier construction, piling replacement and structural wood repairs in coastal condominium settings.
