Gulf Construction rebuilt coastal outdoor amenities at Sea Spray Condominium, including two wooden beach boardwalks and a wood-framed pool deck.

Project Overview
Gulf Construction served as general contractor for the reconstruction of outdoor amenities at Sea Spray Condominium in Perdido Key, Florida. The work addressed two existing wood boardwalks and a wood-framed pool deck, replacing deteriorated assemblies with rebuilt access and recreation areas.
Demolition and Reconstruction
Our crews demolished both existing wood boardwalks and the wood-framed pool deck. We then rebuilt the pool deck and its railings and reconstructed and extended both boardwalks. Performing the demolition and rebuilding together allowed the replacement structures to be coordinated as a single project.
Decking, Railings and Accessibility Improvements
The reconstructed amenities include composite decking and new handrails. The boardwalk heights were adjusted as part of accessibility improvements intended to better accommodate ADA-related access needs. We describe these as accessibility improvements rather than claiming independent certification of full ADA compliance.
Self-Performed Coastal Construction
Gulf Construction self-performed 100% of the project scope. The job combined demolition, wood framing, deck construction, composite decking and railing installation in a beachfront condominium environment.
